What to look for when buying a flat?

The first thought on what to look for when choosing a flat? For some, certainly the price, and no doubt this is one factor that plays a huge role. However, it is not the only one. Behind the choice of a property, there should be a thoughtful decision about the metre and layout we care about, the location, access to infrastructure or even our favourite style. So let's start one step at a time.

Flat size and layout

We assume that the decision on the type of market from which you want to buy a flat is already behind you. This leaves you with further important aspects, among others: the square footage and the layout of the chosen property. The largest possible flat will not always be suitable for everyone. Here, the main issue is whether it is to house a student, a young couple or a family with three children. The second consideration is the layout of the flat - if you dream of having a bedroom, your own study and a guest room - then go for an apartment-type property, which has four rooms and is automatically larger. We always view a flat before buying it, so we immediately know whether the solution with a kitchen open to the living room and a person with a bathroom and toilet suits us or not. In the case of our flats, right after receiving the keys from the developer, it is possible to change the layout and agree on individual preferences with our customers.

Location and surrounding infrastructure

Here, as in the case of square footage and layout, there is a subjective feeling behind the decision on location, whether we dream of living closer to the centre or completely out of the way. An easy commute to work or school is certainly a variable, as is whether we have access to the necessary infrastructure in the immediate vicinity. Perhaps our work is where we are - those working remotely have the comfort of not having to consider the commute. So the only thing they might be particularly interested in is the proximity to shops and restaurants, so that they can pop out for lunch on their break and relax around green spaces after work. The most attractive option would therefore be to find a flat well connected to the centre, in close proximity to parks and extensive infrastructure. When looking for a property, we always try to balance the needs of both lovers of city life and those who enjoy a quiet neighbourhood.

Floor and facilities

Another consideration is the location of the flat in terms of floor height. This variable can be particularly important for seniors, but even the top floor need not be an exclusion for them - modern apartment buildings always have lifts. Amenities can also include a balcony or even a private garden, which is also possible if you choose to live in a flat. Here, it is obvious that a property with a garden will be located on the ground floor.

Favourite style

If we decide to turnkey flatThe style in which it is finished is just as important as the above factors. After all, this option means that we can live in the flat immediately. So the interior finish, the colour scheme and the choice of furniture must steal our hearts.

As you can see, there are many factors to consider when buying a flat and they are essentially based on our subjective tastes and needs. We believe that the variety of offers on the housing market can help you find the best one, to which we ourselves try to contribute.
